The Burke Building Center is family owned and operated by Vern and Carole Witt in Burke, South Dakota. They purchased the store from Corsica Lumber in 1993 after Vern managed the store.
Their son, Jason Witt, joined the Burke Building Center in 2005 after graduating from South Dakota State University with a Construction Management and Engineering Technologies Degree. Jason’s main duties are computer aided design for both commercial and residential construction and overseeing general contracting jobs.
